What is fractionated coconut oil?

Fractionated coconut oil is produced from whole coconut oil through a process that separates and removes the fatty acids that solidify at room temperature, leaving a liquid fraction composed mainly of medium-chain triglycerides (MCT). The result is a light, clear, odourless oil that stays liquid even at low temperatures.

Because it comes from organic farming and is Food Grade, it offers a high purity profile, low impurity content and strong oxidative stability. These features make it suitable for demanding cosmetic formulations that require a clean, stable carrier oil with a consistent texture from batch to batch.

Main cosmetic uses of fractionated coconut oil
