What is Apricot Kernel Oil?

Apricot kernel oil is cold-pressed from the seeds inside the apricot stone, a process that preserves most of its original fatty acid profile. Its composition is dominated by oleic and linoleic acid, two fatty acids that provide emollient properties and a silky texture that absorbs quickly without leaving a greasy feel on the skin.

Beyond these fatty acids, it naturally contains vitamin E, an antioxidant that supports the oil's own oxidative stability within a formulation. Main Cosmetic Uses of Apricot Kernel Oil
