Pure beeswax implies that it has not been filtered, so it has an intense yellow color and the characteristic honey aroma. The composition of beeswax is very rich in fatty acids, which causes it to have a low melting point (around 60ºC). It has a great stabilizing capacity for emulsions. Its degree of purity makes it the perfect element to make candles; as it increases the hardness and density of the solutions, providing greater texture and consistency; its high impermeability creates protective films on the surfaces it covers.
