Description
The organic lemon essential oil is obtained by cold pressing the fresh rind of the Citrus limon fruit. This is aspecies native to southeastern regions of India, northern Burma, and China. Despite its distant origin, we currently find its cultivation very widespread in southern Europe and California. Its chemotype is limonene, a monoterpene with a minimum percentage of 65%. This gives it its organoleptic properties. Other monoterpenes that we find in lemon essential oil are β-pinene and γ-terpinene, with flavoring properties. Lemon essential oil comes from organic farming.
