Organic cocoa butter is obtained by first cold pressing the Theobroma cacao seeds and subsequent deodorization, a steam process that removes unwanted organoleptic characteristics. This tree, native to Mesoamerica, is known as “food of the gods”, due in large part to its content of fatty acids and vitamin E.
