Raw organic shea butter is obtained by the first cold pressing of Butyrospermum parkii nuts, a tree native to Africa. It stands out in its composition for the presence of oleic acid that provides hydration, and stearic acid as an emulsifier. Terpenic alcohols and vitamins A and E act as antioxidants, while phytosterols enhance the skin’s barrier function.
